KIRKUS REVIEW

Holiday spots are familiar haunts of many such ""incomplete anglers"" as these -- and yet most reminiscences of fishing experiences equipment and funds of scientific and technical knowledge on all matters pertaining to their cult. This pair -- Canadians -- don't even know the difference between wet and dry fly fishing (they've always meant to find out). Robins has had some slight experience in the woods; his companion learns by trial and error method, often painfully, on a holiday in Algquin Park, in the Province of Ontario. There is humor and a sense of telling a good yarn in this record of their experiences.
