McCALL'S GIANT GOLDEN MAKE-IT-BOOK

Culled from issues of various McCall publications, this omnium gatherum of how-to-covers a multiplicity of activities from planning parties to modelling with soap that can be indulged in by children from six to ten, with the appropriate amount of adult help dependent on the age. Introductory lists and hints tell what to save and use and basic methods. From then on, instructions- for practically anything from mobiles to gingerbread- are short, to the point, and gaily illustrated in full color by Corinne Malvern and Bob Riley. Good family fare and fun.
