KIRKUS REVIEW

Frankly, I don't think he says anything that hasn't been said before -- and said better. But, as the sub-title indicates, it is intended as a ""primer"", of economic problems and policies, and it does crystallize the fact that todays economic problems are essential parts of wider social and humanitarian problems, and must be approached as such. Professor Dickinson's name carries weight, particularly in the Philadelphia vicinity.
