THE GHOSTS' HIGH NOON

The venerable Mr. Carr, lallygagging through New Orleans just before World War I in one of his long-toothed, and only nominal entertainments about one Jim Blake (he works for Harper's Weekly) who is sent down there to-do a personality story on a political candidate. There is of course a murder entailing latterday revelations but even the-presence of Yvonne, a ""grande amoureuse,"" won't make this a ""nuit enchantee.
