KIRKUS REVIEW

Barrister Patrick Butler, arrogantly cocksure of his infallibility, stealing the show from Dr. Fell -- when witchcraft enters into murders by poison. Dr. Fell points the way and Butler carries on -- through Black Masses, Satanism and the hand behind it all. Tricky stuff- and trickily handled.
