KIRKUS REVIEW

Even if there are any among Mr. Carr's habituated audience who might thrill at ""Will anybody be using the roadster tonight?"" -- they'll soon be dropping off. This takes place once again in New Orleans in the '20's in an old family manse which boasts strange devices and a flight of ""killing stairs."" It's all a crashing bore.
