KIRKUS REVIEW

A master hand turns out another superior problem, as Dr. Dermot Kinross, English psychologist goes to the aid of a country woman who is about to be arrested in France for the murder of her father-in-law-to-be. Informed on by her maid, she finally tells the truth of the events of the evening in question. It is a situation complicated by the return of an insistent ex-husband, by an accident, by a combination of circumstantial evidence. But Kinross eventually proves her to be the victim of a plot rather than the instigator. Good -- and fair. Rabbit out of the hat document.
