GAILY WE PARADE

I liked Mr. Brewton's collection of poems about animals (Under the Tent of the Sky) and I like this volume, which is a collection of poems about people. One gets a wide range under this heading, -- city and country, village and town, children and grown-ups, shops and street vendors, work and play, real people and fairy folk, holidays and school days, humor, travel, imagination and sleepy time. The Robert Lawson illustrations on the half titles for the various sections, are delightful.
