The chaplain at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point has devised a new technique for sermonising to the students. The preacher assumes the character of a Biblical personage and describes his or her qualities and characteristics and gives to the congregation three clues to the identity of the person. Under the rules of the game as played at West Point the preacher must bring his sermon to a close as soon as some one in the congregation identifies the person described. This no doubt serves to keep the cadets on the qui vive. But the sermons are interesting in themselves, and their publication should be of value to ministers and teachers who have to preach to students and other young people.
