PROPHETS, IDOLS AND DIGGERS: Scientific Proof of Bible History

Recent archeological discoveries have thrown a great deal of new light on the Bible. That is what this book is about. The author, John Elder, who lives in Iran, has for many years been surrounded by these archeological evidences, and has drawn freely upon the study and writing that has already been done as to their extent and interpretation. Using this material freely, he has told a story that is both coherent and dramatic and successfully brings together all relevant material as to the method, manner and meaning of the ""diggings"" which so often indicate that Bible references are not as obscure as some have thought, and that The Book is indeed rooted and grounded in history. He begins at the beginning, Genesis, and goes on through Revelation. Those who have visited the Holy Land will get special delight from this book, for it will bring back to them with deeper meaning the scenes they have visited all too briefly.
