THE COMPLETE LIFE by John Erakine

THE COMPLETE LIFE

By

Publisher: Messner

We cannot this as the big seller the publishers feel it will be, but the Erakine name is good property, and this is, to some extent, a sharing of the conclusions of a lifetime of observation and participation. The result is a book which can be used for self-development, outlining the elements of culture, enlightenment and living, intended to help the average man attain a ""full life"". As prime principle, Erakine believes that each man should participate rather than observe, be active rather than passive, in all forms of human experience. Reading and writing, music and the dance, painting, architecture, etc. are assayed, the components of each discussed, certain approaches recommended, and his own preferences indicated. Home crafts -- conversation and manners -- travel -- religion -- politics -- the foundations of love, marriage and parenthood. Self-help with philosophical and classical allusion. Self help -- more fully developed than most.
