KIRKUS REVIEW

The making of a killer, as a sober, solid citizen- banker is caught by a designing- and expensive- woman, persuaded to larceny, and eventually to murder. But-as an amateur killer- he makes the inevitable errors, meets the inevitable penalty. The moralizing here makes this fairly dull.
