KIRKUS REVIEW

Well--you won't hang up--since within its midwestern small town setting, all kinds of psycho to psychic disturbances take place after Michael, the nephew who disappeared? died? many years ago starts calling his aunt Helen Connelly asking her to come and fetch him. Other people seem to see and/or hear him, and two deaths seems to synchronize (one's a real startler) before policeman Doremus establishes that Michael is not a blithe spirit but a homicidal maniac....An edgy suspense story handled with ease.
