THIS YEAR'S DEATH

Young Dr. Mary Cambridge is faced with a pretty strange syndrome when Ted whom she is to marry, also a doctor, involves her with the Reeds- his patients and an intemperate lot, and she witnesses his death-presumably at the hands of Ken Reed. But while the Reeds- and the police- attempt to snaffle Ken, who escapes, it is Mary who accepts his innocence on faith and helps to expose a fancy fraud in which death too has been simulated...Not too reasonable, but compulsive.
