KIRKUS REVIEW

This is an informative account of aspects of the skin with barely enough literary merit to make it more than just comprehensible. It relates the particular personal problems of teen-agers to such topics as hair, skin dryness, and a variety of infections and allergies: in a number of these instances, the author indicates the folly of expensive attempts at alleviation of a misunderstood malady. Primarily an undistinguished survey, it does offer sound advice.
