OUT OF DARKNESS

Probably no man reaches a deeper thinking, broader minded group, than this author, minister of the Community Church, New York. However his endorsement of so radical a group as the Fellowship of Reconciliation, radically Christian and radically ""right"", is to be watched, particularly at this time. Its tenets are the refusal to fight or sanction military preparations. Dr. Holmes is seldom unrealistic so perhaps this pacifistic angle will not hurt the sale of his book which gives an excellent appraisal of the present world chaos, and offers plans for a brighter future to those who are willing to pay the price.
