Verse intended to be along humorous lines, but they fall far short. There is little originality in either context or verse pattern. They lack the sparkle of our better versifiers (Parker, Nash, Fishback, Guiterman, McGinley, etc.) Little more than jingles on familiar subjects; pedestrian and heavy handed.
