KIRKUS REVIEW

Fancies, Foibles and Facts about Meat"" -- so runs the sub-title. The writer then proceeds to plead the cause of meat -- he starts by describing the processes of digestion, the needs of the body for various types of foods, the fads that have come and gone and the fallacies, the prejudice against meat -- and its meaninglessness. Convincing enough -- and a good antidote, for those who are over-read on Hay diets, and so forth.
