MYSTERY OF THE HAUNTED WOODS

This is an underprivileged little story re-introducing the Nickson children who seem the same age as they were in the earlier Hurricane Castle (1964): Danny is four and very scared most of the time when they spend a holiday in Indian country. New Mexico, with a glowering servant--Neeta--who mutters about spirits talking in the forest. Then there's the hand on a wall of a house in a ghost town, some footprints closer to home, all easily explained by Neeta's granddaughter--she's being secretly tutored....Heap little--and a few baskets and clay pots do not make a culture.
