You can read about trouble with the children on a museum trip, a neat and tidy uncle, a ribbing of Steinbeck and a bus sex safari; or you can listen to a harangue of ideas as expressed in visual and auditory elements- prejudice, justice, the cause of right; or you can reread criticism of plays and cinema, you can pick your laurels or barbs and enjoy them all over again, even if you have seen them before. An urbane gentleman, sometimes quietly clowning, sometimes gently professing, but always capable of freshly arresting expression.
