. . . and wear a smile. Certainly Murphy doesn't take his spies too seriously, which is just as well, since with ail the doubles and counters it's not easy to tell who's playing Red rover with whom. The narrator is James Hagen, low man in the Washington CIA complex, until suddenly he's dubbed second agent in a super-secret project involving money ""supplies"" and a solution to the murders of a Spanish bullfighter, a British journalist and a CIA accountant. What begins as a Me-and-Us affair turns into an internal conspiracy within the Agency. Two murders and innumerable rendezvous later, Hagen escapes with all the goods on the bad apples. Bright and easy.
