MAN: A CITIZEN OF THE UNIVERSE by John O'Hara Cosgrave

MAN: A CITIZEN OF THE UNIVERSE

By

Pub Date: Jan. 14th, 1947

This philosophic work on the problem of existence states that man follows a pattern of instinct rather than of free will and self determination; the evolution theory set up a competing authority with the church, and ""natural selection"" may be a great delusion. Since neither Genesis nor evolution offers a sufficient basis, perhaps a blend of the two supplying the answer, while discarding naturalism, substituting reason provides a sound foundation of the problem of existence. A rambling collection of ideas, offering no remedy for the problems stated. Limited.
