KIRKUS REVIEW

Omniscient Dr. Priestley once again to the fore in showing Scotland Yard not only how two murders were done, but why and by whom. Suspicious proximity of the deaths of two brothers makes investigation necessary, and Priestley, indicating the lines it should follow, has Hanslet and Waghorn of the Yard bloodhounding for him to a successful conclusion. More bone and sinews of detection than covering flesh in the tales.
