KIRKUS REVIEW

Dr. Priestley in his impersonal way directing from afar the investigation of multiple forgeries and a murder made to look accidental. Young Inspector Waghorn does the spadework, and digs out a who for the why, after the how has long been known. Mono-murder, minus any gasp of surprise or horror.
