This sequel to Arabian Cow Horse (1953, p. 186) is a bit of a disappointment. hile it remains good western story telling, it has little of the dramatic force that brought he four sided conflict between Don Revere, his father Big Mike, the Arabian Raffy, and he Bull, Axtel Domino, to a head in the former book. Now, Don is established with the reedom to train Arabians as cow horses, provided he stands up to the responsibilities of ranching. But the difficulties,- as Don learns more ropes from Luis a tough and true and, does away with a cougar and wins ribbons at the San Francisco Cow Palace,- seem inconsequential in comparison.
