HOW TO HAVE MORE BEAUTY, POISE AND PERSONALITY

The name ""Powers"" is synonymous with glamour, beauty, and impeccable grooming. Here the director of the famous model agency and head of the Powers Charm School adds his gospel to the already full literature of feminine charm aids. But in the case of John Power's text, he far surpasses most of what has heretofore been available. Based on a sound knowledge of nutrition and physiological fact, he has many helpful cues to give on diet, physical care, exercise, and sleep. Cognizant of the economic and physical problems which face women, he provides formulas which are flexible and well within the reach of even the most harried and financially limited woman. Care of skin, hair, and wardrobe, cultivation of inner attitudes, and, for extreme cases, plastic surgery are carefully considered. A final section on professional modeling rounds off this text which offers a lesson of value to women of every age and disposition, and which does, largely, satisfy the promise implied in its title.
