KIRKUS REVIEW

In and about a barn, a skunk hunts for mice (and other food), loses one to an owl, just escapes being caught by the owl himself. Spread over forty Schoenherr-signature black-and-white pages, this ""day in the life of..."" takes forever to accomplish very little, albeit expressively. The cycle of nature at a standstill.
