IT'S NICE TO BE LITTLE

Hindsight is supposedly better than foresight, but the little ones who don't find life one big cream puff, aren't likely to take much stock in this idealized backward view of their world. If they do, the concluding news that ""...never never again will you have the fun you had when you were little"" is chilling. Anyhow the advantages to being little seem pretty irrelevant--like being able ""...to visit your dog in his own home""(the picture shows two children and a puppy comfortably installed in the palatial doghouse). The muted illustrations show a nice woodsy landscape, complete with some charming minute animals, for an integrated group of children to romp in.
