This is a true story which is listed here because we feel that an adult's comments and interpretations increase the value of this type of book. Mrs. Johnson found Snowball on one of her trips to the Belgian Congo, she bought him from the natives, had many amusing experiences because of his pranks, brought him over to this country and finally placed him in the New York Zoo.
