THE PSYCHOLOGY OF C. G. JUNG

By

Pub Date: Nov. 16th, 1943
Publisher: Yale

A resume of Dr. Jung's work in psycho-therapy over forty years -- a selectic of the salient points of his theory, keeping the outline of method clear and concise, and at the same time, stimulating the interest of the reader to go to Jung himself. To psychoanalysis jung contributed a whole philosophy of the individual, which goes fax beyond Freud's purely causative dissection, to a ""way of healing"" -- particularly important at some phases of maturity. His use of symbolism goes deeper than his predeces . His conception of depth psychology, his teaching of religious psychology, all add up in the individual to a higher, more rounded level. A book for psychological reference shelves, for educators, physicians, advanced psychiatrists, liberal clergy.
