Another Todd A-O with maps, views of the pampas, Indian lore, great volcanoes and waterfalls, all celebrating the genesis and nature of Latin American cuisine. Buried in the dazzling riches of color photography in which a quartered egg resembles a Georgia O'Keefe study, are some explicitly set forth recipes, simplified for the middle-brow gourmet. Again the processes and the more exotic ingredients are pictured and described. There is a glossary, index, and what have you, but alas, no list of suppliers for areas remote from Spanish-South American influence.
