Little Rabbit takes a bath.

Readers give Little Rabbit a thorough tubby time in this book that invites them to participate. There are no movable parts, but the narrator addresses readers, coaching them through the process. But first: “Can you call him?” suggests the text. The adorable bunny is poked and prodded a bit as little ones are encouraged to wash his ears, wipe his face, dry him with a towel, and more. The rabbit’s giant head and floppy ears are easy targets for little fingers, and the illustrations are set against solid blue and yellow backdrops that help those fingers find their proper targets. Readers wary of bathtime will benefit from this title, as Little Rabbit smiles all the way through his washing and drying off. Children will particularly enjoy blowing Little Rabbit’s ears dry (the blow dryer is broken): “wfffffffff / Keep blowing!”

An adorable and engaging read.
