KIRKUS REVIEW

A heck of a lot for the tourist about Chicago--chirrupy prose and a tremendous wingspread. It's all here--restaurants, entertainment, shopping, sightseeing, services, etc., etc. In most cases, restaurant prices are given (disconcerting when they're not). There is a list of recommended hotels, with prices, grouped by location. With eleven pages of maps, this is a sensible, apparently comprehensive guide from the Loop shopping to lively living. An index, which has not been included, is assumed.
