KIRKUS REVIEW

The author of the Jim Ellis series introduces a new hero, Ted Post, 17-year old interpreter who joins a reparation mission as an assistant. He is sent to England and then to the continent. Early in the game it is evident that one member of the mission knows about some secret Nazi treasures, and the running down of slender clues, the chase for the goal, provide a series of adventures and misadventures for our hero in a story that is well-sustained and packed with action. The author's interest in international understanding, his sensitivity to people contribute that extra something that takes this out of the straight adventure class and makes the book worth while.
