SWORDFISHERMAN JIM

Berger has written some good yarns, but this strikes me as perhaps the best of the lot. The story of the Gloucester fishing fleet, of swordfishing (for business, not for fun), of life and activities aboard a modern fishing vessel, of the perils and the dangers of the sea, still unconquered. Jim was considered a ""Jonah"". This tells how he proved his luck. A 1939 Captains Courageous.
