There is more responsible guidance than novelty in what Dr. Wassersug has to say about the physiological processes of both body and mind; the particularly vulnerable parts of the body (skin, bones, lungs, heart, etc.); health and hygiene; diet; sexuality; finances; and above all the continuation of old interests and cultivation of new ones. Successful aging is equated with successful living, not withdrawal. Sensible and sanguine.
