Dr. Newton wastes no time on contemporary evils of state, systems, society or individuals. His is a divine unconcern for the temporal and it is eternity to which he opens the door. Since this Lenten series started, there have been good, bad and indifferent books but after following them closely, we would venture to say that there will never be a more timely contribution than this book which radiates the message of victory from the Cross.
