KIRKUS REVIEW

Cape Cod in the Joe Lincoln vein has become more of a type than the Cape itself, and the great American public seems always ready for more. Nothing particularly outstanding in this new novel -- but it wont disappoint the Lincoln fans. Pleasant reading, safe for the conservative audience, enough romance, plus its quota of tears and smiles, and the crooked dealers get their just desert, and the righteous prosper.
