KIRKUS REVIEW

Glada, intent on her independence, has no interest in marriage but is loved by two gents, who demand nothing in return. But to salvage her brother, in a blackmailing debt, she is forced to sell her adored chicken farm, and her mysterious helper on the farm weakens her on this bachelor-girl stuff. An automobile accident cinches it, and Li'l ol' cupid gets them all in the end -- even independent young misses. Oh well.
