THE COMPLEAT CAT by Joseph Spies

Email this review

Felis catus"" gets a complete grooming in this latest by the internationally known cat-ographer- Cats and How I Photograph Them. And, along with all the vital statistics there are notes on how to capture pussy in that perfect pose (Mr. Spies has spent hours awaiting the end of a catnap to capture a yawn). He gives histories, analyzes breeds, diet, adoption and/or buying procedures, menus, diseases...even gives surgical techniques on how to be midwife. There is a complete listing of clubs and points for show. There is an estimated $150,000,000 minimum spent on cat food each year; we can't guarantee that much of a sale but this may be a name brand in the book business.
