AT MADAME BONNARD'S

Central Park West -- a boarding house run by a Frenchwoman, for an oddly assorted group of people of various nationalities and interests. The period of action is compassed by the period of indecision -- to sell, or not to sell. The handling of the material suggests the Gerald Bullett method in The Jury -- and there's an odd sense of diffused interest and lack of focus. More than adequately done -- but, what of it?
