This struck me as a second rate imitation of Wanda Gag. It is the innocuous story of a good little farm couple who wanted ""a fat sleek little donkey"" -- of how they got one and named him Olga, and of how he decided that it didn't pay to be a ""stubborn ungrateful donkey"" after all.
