THE STABLE THAT STAYED

Delightfulness, about a stable with a stable personality. Its 1980 splendour deserted by a pair of handsome browns, a pair of handsome greys, a groom, a boy and a wealthy croquet-playing family, the stable is left alone and waiting. The wind comes. Bats come. Dogs and cats and leaves come. There is a stream nearby and even the woods begin to encroach. Then an artist and his family come too and there is a home for them.
