KIRKUS REVIEW

A different sort of setting for a story of an amateur criminologist, as Miss Pym, retired French teacher, is in on a killing, when she stays at a school where she has lectured. She is perhaps more convincing as an amused and amusing bystander than as a psychologist-moralist-amateur criminologist. Good characterization of both students and eccentric faculty at a girls' physical training college in England. A fairly competent-though not consistently entertaining-job.
