MORE POEMS TO READ TO THE VERY YOUNG

More familiar rhymes about familiar things, in the same large, friendly format as the first. Most are by contemporary (or recent) authors for children and many you can recite half asleep; but the child or parent who's put off by the more artistic or formidable anthology may find this accessible. For the purpose, fewer villages and lanes, and more black faces, would have been welcome. Still, a likely gift purchase at the price.
