Rentals primarily, but with definitely more quality than run-of-the-mill fiction, so should be good for public libraries as well. English -- light -- not important but well achieved. A story of first love, spotted through several years, as unworldly, genuine Marian falls in love with fifteen year old Nickie, who is a spoiled charmer, Chance encounters follow as they grow older; Nickle becomes a celebrity in the theatre, Marian becomes a gym teacher. Finally, they meet at thirty, when Nickie is facing failure, and turns to Marian, suggesting marriage. She realizes her unpreparedness for his world, but restores his self-confidence and sends him off.
