WALLY

A kid's sitcom about a lizard in the house. Namely Wally the chuckwalla, palmed off on Michael, son of Catherine the Reptile-Hater, by friend (?) Billy, who's off briefly to Arizona. For two-thirds of the way Michael and brother Rog struggle to keep Wally safely hidden and--the biggest problem--sufficiently warm (lots and lots of fuss about a sun lamp). Then Wally disappears--and turns up just in time to rout the obnoxious folks about to buy the family homestead. Since the boys were dead set against moving (for reasons best understood by themselves), all ends well and none too soon: more of Rog's baby talk to Wally--""You des da mose pweshus sing Unka Rogie ever saw""--would be too much to face.
