More, a puff more, of the patented Viorst verities. On love: ""When a husband says that he loves you so much he thinks about you morning, noon, and night, chances are that he's somebody else's husband."" And guilt: ""Looking as if you are sunk in deep thought when what you are actually thinking is whether your coral lipstick goes with your sweater."" And miscellanies such as growing old: ""I'd rather grow azaleas."" Even compared to Hip over Thirty and Forty and Other Atrocities, this is a sugar souffl‚ struggling to be bittersweet, which takes all of 20 minutes to consume--23 if you look at the pictures. But the faithful will find her truths most palatable.
