KIRKUS REVIEW

A fast fuelled tale of fraud and sabotage by the author of last year's Dodd, Mead -- Red Book prize mystery, Murder in Marble, -- and we think it several laps ahead of that one. An honest gambler and his college bred assistant, boost the N.Y. police in the matter of three murders and a snatch, all centering around a fixed prize fight with international implications. Better going than figuring -- but fun.
