COMRADES IN THE SNOW

Fourteen year old Pggy's father is a journalist, and the end of their 1939 trip takes them to Helsinki, where Puggy finds perfect companionship and learns much of Finnish lore and patriotism. The war catches them still there: Puggy shares adventures with his Finnish comrade. Good modern adventure, with the central character a thoroughly likable. American boy, who is always in hot water.
